UPS survey: Small business owners optimistic
In the first UPS Business Monitor United States, conducted between September and October last year, 91 percent of small-business owners or managers said they expect their company to be in the same or better financial shape in a year than it is today. Consisting of a sample size of 600 small business surveyed via phone.
However, small business owners do not project a speedy economic recovery, according to the report.
In the initial survey, 47% said they believe that the US economy will begin to improve in 2010 or later. When resampled in December 67% said the same.
Both surveys were conducted by TNS.
