How to find images you can use in your website and email creative

Once you have a resource for finding the perfect image to communicate your message your message will be better received. Why you ask? Because images catch people’s attention and can get your message across faster than reading a headline. The key is knowing where to source your images from and understanding image licensing rules.
Sourcing Images
- Royalty Free:
Means you may use the artwork however you’d like for illustrative purposes—for a limited time or for one medium such as email.
For royalty free images you can visit Fotolia or iStockPhoto, for inexpensive images ranging from $1-$6.
- Public Domain:
In the U.S., public domain applies on materials published or produced at least 85 years ago. These rules vary by country.
For public domain images you can visit flickr commons
